Our ongoing partnership with the American Heart Association through the Kids Heart Challenge has been rewarding for staff, students, and families. Participating schools in Douglas County not only promote lifelong heart-healthy habits among students but also gain access to valuable resources such as PE equipment, professional development opportunities, and hands-only CPR education. This program is straightforward to implement and enhances student learning outcomes.
